La Mirada’s newest Northgate González Market location will be your destination for everyday meals, weekend carne asadas, celebrations, and family traditions that feel like home. At Northgate Market, our tamales are a true celebration of tradition, family, and craftsmanship. Handmade using stone-ground masa prepared fresh in-house, each tamal is filled with perfectly seasoned ingredients and cooked to achieve rich, savory flavor in every bite. Enjoy a variety of authentic flavors. From pork and chicken to cheese with hatch chile, corn, strawberry, and pineapple!
At Northgate Market, our tortillas are made in-house every day using time honored methods. Our corn tortillas are crafted from 100% corn with no preservatives and stone-ground on volcanic rock for rich, authentic flavor. We also make our flour tortillas fresh in-store, using real butter for a soft, warm, homemade taste. Be sure to check out our flour tortilla maker in action and enjoy a sample of our warm tortillas, straight off the line.
Baked daily, our freshly made sweet breads are waiting to be savored, along with our signature cake options, perfect for any occasion. Stop by La Pasteleria for some pan dulce, or a signature tres leches cake, or why not both? While you’re at it, grab a few bolillos. Handcrafted from scratch throughout the day, our bolillo is more than just bread it’s a comforting classic, baked in-store using a traditional Mexican recipe.
