Cecina Molcajete with Chicharrón

A cecina molcajete with chicharrón is perfect for both friend and family gatherings. Featuring a delicious combination of grilled Panela cheese, crunchy chicharrón and fiery Northgate® Market Salsa, this Mexican classic is a grilling must-try!


1.1 lbs cecina
1.1 lbs panela cheese cut into thick sticks
10 pieces green onions
1 cup guacamole
1 cup Northgate® Market Salsa
Pork rinds
1 cup cilantro
3 pieces radish sliced


1. Preheat grill 45 minutes before using. Cook cecina for 3 minutes per side and set aside. Lightly sear panela cheese and green onions. Set aside.
2. Pour guacamole into molcajete and arrange cecina, panela cheese, and green onions.
3. Garnish with pork rinds, sliced radish, and cilantro, and serve with Northgate® Market Salsa on the side.
