Grilled Beef Huaraches

Topped with chopped tender marinated steak, refried black beans, sour cream, and cotija cheese, this huarache dish is the perfect way to bring a classic Mexican street food to your kitchen. Follow our recipe for this authentic Mexican cuisine and enjoy every bite!

Ingredients

• Pre-made Northgate Market huaraches
• Mexican sour cream
• Cotija cheese
• ½ cup oil
• 1 cup green salsa
• 1 ½ tsp. of salt
• 1 ½ tsp. of pepper
• 1 lb. beef chuck roll steak
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 cups lettuce, minced
• Refried beans

Directions

Heat 1 tbsp. of oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry huarache in oil until it becomes golden brown, repeat process for remaining huaraches. Season steak with desired salt and pepper and fry with onion slices for 2 to 5 minutes per side. Remove the steaks and chop into small pieces. Spread refried beans on each huarache and chopped steak bits. Serve each huarache with minced lettuce, sour cream, cotija cheese, and green salsa.
