A delicious aguachile with fresh scallops.

Ingredients

Scallops
3 lbs
Lemon Juice
2 1/2 Cups
Cloves of Garlic
3
Sliced Red Onion
2 Cups
Sliced Habanero or Serrano Chile
3/4 Cup
Sliced Cucumber
3 Cups
Apple cider vinegar
3/4 Cup
Minced Cilantro
3/4 Cup
Avocado to garnish
Morton's Sea Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste

Easy Directions

  • Thinly slice the scallops and season with salt and pepper to taste. Reserve.
  • Blend lemon juice, garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Put the sliced red onion, habanero chili, cucumber and the blender mixture in a bowl.
  • Add a little salt and pepper, and allow to sit in the fridge for 5 minutes.
  • Add the scallops and allow to marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Serve in a plate, garnish with cilantro and avocado.
  • Serve with Northgate® tostadas Casera.
